Water Therapy: How much should you drink every day?

It is very important to drink water according to your lifestyle rather than follow the 8-glass water rule. Morning water therapy is a traditional way of beginning each day with a glass of lukewarm water. Designed to get your digestion going and help cleanse your body of toxins+waste, this is a quick and easy method to give your body a leg up. Storing the water in a copper vessel overnight and adding juice of lemon to it before consuming can help amp-up the health benefits.

For old and serious diseases as well as modern illnesses the water treatment had been found successful as a 100% cure for the following diseases: Headache, heart system, body ache, arthritis, excess fatness, bronchitis asthma, TB, kidney and urine diseases, vomiting, diabetes, constipation, all eye diseases, ear nose and throat diseases.

Drink according to lifestyle:
According to nutritionist expert Nupur Krishnan, one's lifestyle plays an important role in deciding the amount of water that one should consume. "If you have a sedentary lifestyle and work in an air-conditioned environment where there is no scope for water loss via sweat, drinking more than 2 to 2.5 litres of water is not advisable. It will end up accumulating in your kidney and cause edema," says  Krishnan. For moderate workers like salespersons, who are required to do physical activity, it is important to drink around three litres of water.

Teaching science the way no textbook can, toymaker Arvind Gupta gets Padma Shri Science is about challenging authority and asking questions, says 64-year-old Arvind Gupta, who has been awarded the Padma Shri this year. Known for turning trash into toys that children can make themselves while learning the basic principles of science, Gupta dismisses Union minister Satyapal Singh’s statement that Charles Darwin’s theory of evolution of man was not scientific as “silly”. “These statements do not encourage science,” Gupta, who has translated 380 award-winning books on science and math in Hindi, told The Indian Express. “The scientific community has criticised such statements that do not encourage science,” says Gupta, who has dedicated over 35 years to popularising science and making it a fun-learning experience for children.
